Q. What is loan modification?
A. This a change to the current mortgage in order to help you stay in a home that you cannot currently afford the payments to. The goal is to get you lower monthly payments that you can afford.
Q. Do you take over my loan?
A. No. Your loan will still be payable to your current lender. We just work with the lender on your behalf to help you renegotiate the terms of your mortgage.
Q. Is there a credit check involved in using your services?
A. No. There is no credit check involved for approval.
Q. Do I have to pay new closing fees?
A. No. In loan modification, your lender makes changes to your existing mortgage to help you because of hardship.
Q. Will I have to pay other fees?
A. There are no surveys, legal fees, appraisals, or taxes involved in a loan modification.
Q. Can you help me if I am months behind on my mortgage payments?
A. Yes. We often help people who are so far behind in payments, the lender will no longer negotiate with them but have not yet foreclosed on the home.
Q. How quickly will I have a solution?
A. Time is sensitive in these types of cases. The quicker you contact us, the sooner we will be able to begin on your case. Once contracted to help you, we begin working your case immediately.
Q. Can you help me quick-sale my home?
A. Yes, in many cases when staying is not an option, we can help you sell your home to avoid foreclosure and save your credit for when you are ready to buy later.
